Jonny Steede

Jonny Steede is one of Northern Ireland’s leading mountain runners, known for his grit on steep, technical terrain and his standout performances across the UK and Ireland’s toughest races. With more than two decades of competitive experience, he has become one of Northern Ireland’s standout endurance athletes, earning recognition both locally and internationally. A constant force in the hills, he balances full‑time work with elite‑level training. Alongside his own racing, Steede serves on the NIMRA committee, develops Junior NIMRA athletes, and is a development coach for the Glens Runners, where he helps shape and inspire emerging talent.
